Yesterday I went to an event sponsored by GLAAD called “Top Chef Invasion.” The event was hosted by Fran Drescher (The Nanny, Happily Divorced) at the home of her ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson - hence the “divorced.”

VA athletic club lets gay family join, but still...
The Roanoke Athletic Club in Virginia changed its “Family Membership” policy this week after two men filed a lawsuit against RAC. While the policy now extends to all familly structures, by changing the name to “households” RAC is still refusing to recognize them as families.

Media Fails in Coverage of Trans Hotel Employee
Last week, a transgender woman employed at a Days Inn motel in Orlando, Florida was arrested following accusations that she had inappropriately touched a 14-year-old boy who was guest at the motel.
