Congratulations to Chandler Massey on his Emmy Win for Gay Role on Days of Our Lives
Chandler Massey won the 2012 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series this weekend; it is his second nomination in this category and first win. Massey plays openly gay teenager Will Horton on the NBC daytime soap opera, Days of Our Lives, and is the first soap actor to win a Daytime Emmy for playing a gay male character. Days of Our Lives won a total of four Daytime Emmys this year.
This past Saturday, Shay Mitchell, Ian Harding and Ashley Benson of Pretty Little Liars presented the award for the Outstanding Daily Drama category to Days of Our Lives at the 23rd annual GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco.
