Apparently this is Blackout day on tumblr. I just want to say how proud I am to be born and raised by strong black women, to be proud of my fluid gender identity, to proudly speak truth to attractions I was once ashamed of, to be alive, to be Black and allll that encompasses. My melanin is for damn sure beautiful. I’m not sure of the full purpose of this day but I know I want every opportunity to promote black self love and speak positivity for us into a world that can try so hard to destroy us
